Dental Implants
An implant replaces both the root and the crown, which is why it's the only option that stops the jawbone shrinking where a tooth used to be.
How it works
A titanium post is placed in the jawbone under local anaesthesia. Over the following months it fuses with the bone, then a crown, bridge or denture is attached on top.
A 3D scan beforehand tells us exactly how much bone is available, so surgery day has no surprises.
Single tooth vs full arch
A single implant replaces one tooth without touching its neighbours, unlike a bridge. For a full arch, four to six implants can support a fixed set of replacement teeth in one procedure.

Frequently asked
Am I too old for implants?
There's no upper age limit, what matters is bone density and general health, both of which we check in the planning scan.
What if I don't have enough bone?
A bone graft can rebuild the site first; it adds time to the plan but doesn't rule implants out.
